2024 Version Of Love Potion Number 9 down to the 2 scientists falling in love at the end but like the acting was way blander. A few funny scenes but just way better versions of this plot idea exist already. Kinda shocked at the high reviews for this. I often get told I'm too generous but over here giving this a two so I must be slipping lol.

I clearly watched a different movie than the other reviewers.
I thought this was a well acted, well crafted well cast Irish period piece set in the 60s about the need and desire for miracles for the things we think we need them for vs the miracles we learn we have/get and the appreciation that comes with them. As someone who Grew up in Queens I definetly recognized the locales, the way people were, the mall, so I have some bias.
Also Ray Romano's directorial debut.
Honestly? He did great.
