I am genuinely stunned. Basically at a loss for words. I have not been this in awe of an animated films since I first saw The Lion King (1994) or Spirited Away. I sincerely believe that this could easily fall into the top 5-10 best animated films of all time.
It’s beautiful in every regard. And that’s an understatement. The characters, the story, the music (one of the best scores of recent times), the visuals, and so on, all work to pure perfection to create this emotional beauty of art. I generally don’t cry/tear up during films, this one had me tearing up 4 or 5 different times.
I can’t really say much else as I’m still quite stunned at how incredible this is. So happy I got to experience this in the theater, as it is truly a must see film regardless of if you are a fan of animated films or not. Superb movie that transcends most in its genre.
