Chandra's cloak is a god-level item created by the god of Darkness, Chandra, which allows the storage of a large amount of items without reducing their weight. It was lent to Ran Sairofe.

The cloak created by Chandra is a long dark blue piece of clothing. It allows the storage of a large number of items without reducing their weight. It can store more than one ton of weight.[1]
The cloak has been hinted to have other functions which are as of yet unknown.
Eventually, the cloak became black due to the passage of time.[2]
In the early universe, Chandra used to wear the cloak himself. Its appearance was slightly different, it was a long open cloak with a high collar.[3]

Plot[]
Chandra has been seen wearing the cloak in many flashbacks from the earlier days of the universe.[4][5][6][7] It is unknown when he chose to gave the item to humans, though it surely must have been before D500.[3]
Chandra and his summoner, Laila Hemawati, lent this cloak to Ran Sairofe in N23 when he was to head out to Konchez. They filled the cloak with food, water, and other necessities. Maruna also briefly wore the heavy cloak so that he could dive underwater because he would float otherwise.[1]
Ran wore the cloak when he and Maruna got sent to a space beyond time. Upon returning, the cloak had become black, allegedly because of the time that passed.[2]
Laila asks for the cloak, claiming that it is Chandra's item and the god asked for it. Rana Reimia takes the cloak from a sleeping Ran and brings it to Laila.[8]
When Ran and Maruna find themselves in D500 due to timetravel, Chandra recognizes his cloak,[9] briefly takes it back,[3] only to return it to Ran shortly.[10] Chandra was able to recognize that Ran had traveled through time due to the state of the cloak and he recognized its presence from a distance.[3]
