Noble (
Appearance[]
Most nobles share the common trait of vibrant blue eyes and blond hair, which is a very rare sight among commoners.
Personality[]
Most nobles lack common sense, letting their status go to their head, being haughty and greedy. Although, according to Darkness, most of them are righteous and a role model for society,[1] many of them are corrupt, using underhanded ways to avoid and bend justice, as well as take possession of valuable items and do business.
They are also snob, valuing social status the most, admiring or envying those of higher social status than them, while treat those of lower status as inferior, as plebes or lower ranked nobles, using their wealth and influence to force their inferiors to do their bidding. They are also picky about etiquette.
Nobles of lower rank, like Koorusurou and Sheyka's house, are, however, humbler and have more common sense than higher-ranked houses.
Overview[]
A family of nobles is often referred to as a House. A noble's power and wealth is often dependent on the influence and status of their household. Power isn't only measured by wealth, as some of the greatest households such as House Dustiness are in fact fairly poor. A person cannot be considered a noble unless they are born into a household or marry into one, regardless of their wealth or power.
The nobles usually possess a title regarding the status and power of each House, which are, in descending order: duke, marquess, count, viscount, baron.[2]
It should be noted that some demons have infiltrated the nobility, where they live as nobles and even possess territory, all the while feeding on their servants' negative feelings, with Zeeleschilt being a prime example.[1]
Abilities[]
A lot of nobles are very high-level, as they have spent their entire lives consuming high-quality cuisine with a large amount of experience points.[3] Like royalty, they also marry strong people in order to strengthen their lineage.[2]
