KEWPIE INDONESIA products are manufactured in Indonesia; the location is Cikarang, in West Java. We provide products tailored to the needs of Indonesian society, made with Japanese technology.
Kewpie represents a character, originally from America and well-known in the 1900s both in America and in Japan. The choice of the name Kewpie for our company and our products is based on the hope that Japanese society will love Kewpie products as much as they loved the Kewpie character in those days.
Although they are both emulsified sauces, mayonnaise and dressing nonetheless represent two different sauce products. Mayonnaise contains more fat, which makes it heavier than dressing. Dressing, meanwhile, must contain starch, whereas mayonnaise does not. In use, both mayonnaise and salad dressing can be enjoyed together with salad or any other dish.
All our products have been certified Halal by the MUI, in accordance with a strict standardised process.
Mayonnaise, Dressing, Sauce:
- Before opened: store in a cool and dry place, keep away from direct sunlight.
- After opened: seal tightly and store in the refrigerator.
Crunchy Rich Fillings:
- Before opened: keep in the freezer.
- After opened: seal tightly and store in the refrigerator.
KEWPIE INDONESIA's Mayonnaise and Salad Dressing products that contains eggs, are using eggs that already pasteurized so they are free from bacteria and safe to consume by pregnant women.
