About The Hosts

Day 1 Host – John McClain, CEO/Creative Director, John McClain Design & Design Success Academy

John McClain is a multi-faceted leader in the interior design industry and proudly serves in his field as an interior designer, product designer, author, speaker, business coach, and podcast host.

As the CEO and Creative Director of his internationally acclaimed award-winning interior design firm, John McClain Design, his interior design and home furnishings creations have been featured by numerous shelter publications and television networks including Elle Décor, Traditional Home, HGTV, CBS, and NBC. John is also a contributor to outlets such as Martha Stewart Living, Interior Design magazine, The Wall Street Journal, & House Beautiful. As a product designer, John has created distinctive home furnishings that have not only garnered awards but have made numerous television appearances in their own right.

Day 2 Host – Sophie Donelson, Author and Design Journalist

Sophie Donelson is a design journalist and speaker whose work celebrates the connection between people and their homes. Previously editor in chief of House Beautiful magazine, Sophie has authored several books including Uncommon Kitchens: A Revolutionary Approach to the Most Popular Room in the House (2023) and was recently the host of Magnolia Network’s Design Defined. A longtime New Yorker, Sophie now lives in Montréal.

Day 3 Host – Breegan Jane, Designer, Author and Philanthropist

Designer, author and philanthropist Breegan Jane continues to showcase her vast expertise building homes, designing products and hosting television shows, all while balancing life as a single mother. As the current host of HGTV’s Dream Home, her appearances on a half dozen shows across HGTV, WBD, Max and others reveal her prolific talent for storytelling.

Breegan’s global influence in interior design can be best seen in her line of home accessories distributed in retail locations across the US and Canada, including the well-known Home Goods and HomeSense stores. A lighting collection with Savoy House showcases her innovation and prowess in product development. Breegan’s skills in marketing and product design are displayed in her legacy collection of vibrant, bold wallpapers and fabrics, created in partnership with Clarke and Clarke. Her textiles and wallcoverings are currently available across the United States as well as throughout Europe and Africa, establishing her as a globally-recognized brand.
