Hello all!
I’m honored to be a stop on The Appliqué Book by Casey York blog tour.
And I’m a contributor in the book, how cool is that?
I love how the photographed my project, Falling Leaves. This quilt utilizes a sew-and-turn applique technique. The book also has lots of projects featuring bias tape, raw edge, needle-turn, and so many more ways to applique!
I thought I’d show a little preview of a project I’m working on that uses the same technique I used for Falling Leaves.
It’s a cute little radish.

Nice! Never did learn how to appliqué myself. But I’d love to try! Congrats on the book!
Love applique! I mainly do needle turn but enjoy all the different techniques.
Wow thanks for the technique. I love applique!
I’m very new to quilting and am still at the “admiring” stage, so I don’t know anything about applique. Thanks very much for sharing
I usually do hand applique, but I think I will try your technique! Always willing to learn something new.
The falling leaves are a great pattern for a quilt! So much fun and I’d love to try out your new technique.
Very striking quilt leaves on the navy background fabric.

I love applique projects and am always looking for ways to improve my technique. Very cute radish, looking forward to seeing that project.
Hi,
Applique is something that I haven’t tried much of….just a little here and there. Having said that I have been meaning to try my hand at reverse applique. Always looking for tips and tricks to help me learn something new
I fell in love with applique when I made my first quilt. Would love to learn more! Love your radish!
What a lovely project! Thanks for the chance to win
I probably need this book to improve my skills. They are really not so great.
I have done sew and turn on a small project. it sometimes is the only way to applique certain pieces. I
Thanks for the chance to win this book.
Cute raddish. I’ve been trying to figure out what to put on the back of a quilt for Eero. Dan always says rutabaga (“I’m hungry.” “Want a rutabaga?” or “Guess what dad.” “You found a rutabaga?”). It will be fun to have that there.
