For my last challenge of the month:
I once did a challenge on SCS, asking our fellow crafters to make a one color card, and using only die cuts (you can also use punches). The results were wonderful.. Let's do that again! (Here's a link to that challenge Technique Challenge )
This card was very hard to photograph......the paper is actually a very light shade of blue. I realized after it was finished I had put the toe grips for the flipflops upside down. Mea Culpa.
I used a number of different die cuts, and it was really fun!
Please join us again this week, and be sure to post your card on our BLOG where we can enjoy it too.

CCEE1734 Water Color
My challenge to the team, and to you, is to make a background using water colors, then finish the card in whatever way you wish.
This card is a case of one made for SCS by Birgit. I loved the whole idea, and since our anniversary (54th...can you believe it??) is in two weeks, thought it would be fabulous for DH.
The bg is color washed in tumbled glass and london blue. The owls are from Paper Smooches, with different eyes. The birches are from Paper Trey.
Please join in on the fun, and be sure to link your card to our blog HERE.

CCEE1732 Insects
My challenge for you today is to make a card using bees, dragonflies, any kind of insect. Be sure to add some stickles to their wings (if they have wings).
Be sure to add your card to our blog HERE. I'll be back next week with another challenge.
I stenciled a honeycomb bg in addition to using parts of a honeycomb stamp, adding bees and a hive. Gold stickles completed my card with an Amuse sentiment.

CCEE1731 Emboss
This month I am the Hostess. For my first challenge, I ask you and the team to use any technique that involves embossing - wet, dry, resist - whatever appeals to you.
I couldn't resist (no pun intended) buying a large - 5 x 7 - embossing folder. It was so beautiful that after I ran it through my Big Shot, I knew it had to stand alone. I sponged and used only a simple sentiment. it's a bit early for Easter, but the lilies made me do it!!!
