What
Homebrew Website Club Meetup: Are you building your own website? Indie reader? Personal publishing web app? Or some other digital magic-cloud proxy? If so, come on by and join a gathering of people with likeminded interests. Bring your friends that want to start a personal web site. Exchange information, swap ideas, talk shop, help work on a project...
See the Homebrew Website Club Newsletter Volume 1 Issue 1 for a description of the first meeting.

Notes
San Francisco
- Ben: Known now supports MySQL and Mongo, meaning you can run it anywhere you can run Wordpress
- Ryan: new Bridgy features. Webmention support for Blogger, Tumblr, WordPress.com, stats on the front page, and publish without original post link (use rel-syndication instead).
- brainTrain: Progress on portfolio, a better gist service, migrated to Digital Ocean, and personal web site.
Discussion with others about data portability for end users (primarily data formats) vs. for application developers (primarily APIs), and about HTML5 mobile webapp frameworks.
Portland
- Aaron:
- Fixed a bunch of IndieAuth bugs!
- Thinking about updating posts using Micropub. Most often I need to add a syndication URL to a post, or add a tag, since I post far more short notes and photos than I do long articles.
- Paul: adding h-entry to his website
