Rebel Camp: First Forge is a Rebel Camp activity in Horizon Forbidden West. It becomes available once all other camps have been completed.
Synopsis[]
While clearing Rebel Camps, Aloy discovers a recording in one of the bases from Sons of Prometheus leader Asera demanding that operatives retreat to First Forge, a hidden camp operated by the Sons. In the recording, Asera warns Aloy not to attack the camp, lest she suffer the consequences.
Erend manages to locate the camp using data from a stolen Sons of Prometheus Focus. He and Aloy journey to the Sheerside Mountains where they discover a heavily fortified camp. Together, they attack the camp and kill Asera's rebels. Following a fleeing Asera into a tunnel, Erend and Aloy are forced to evade multiple traps set up in preparation for an attack.
Eventually, the two track down Asera and engage her in combat. Two rebel Clawstriders come to her aid. In the end, however, Aloy kills Asera and destroys her machines.
Upon looting Asera's body, Aloy recovers the legendary hunter bow The Sun Scourge. Erend also keeps a piece of Asera's armor as a war trophy, which can be found with at the Base.
