Elgrund is a character mentioned only in a datapoint in Horizon Forbidden West.
History[]
Elgrund is the ealdorman of an unknown Oseram settlement. The settlement has been prone to frequent flooding, with all the trees on the hills having been cut down to fuel the forges, causing mudslides and more floods in the valley. Vildga suggested that they should be replanting the trees, as the resulting forest would bind the soil and give them lumber in the future, but Elgrund insisted on instead building the floodwalls higher. Fortunately, Vildga was able to build a pump to bail out the floodwater.[1]
At some point, Elgrund confiscated a small mallet given to Ertha by her mother Burgrenda, not believing in forgewifes. However, Burgrenda was able to get it back.[1]
