The Lobalug was an aquatic magical beast found at the bottom of the North Sea.[1]
Description[]
It was a simple creature, about ten inches long on average and being identifiable by its long, rubbery proboscis and a large venom sac comprising much of the main body. The Lobalug used its venom sac as a weapon, contracting it and expelling the venom in the direction of an attacker if threatened.[1]
Merpeople used the Lobalug as a weapon, and the venom was used by wizards as a potion ingredient, though this practice was strictly controlled.[1]
