Kopparberg is a locality in Sweden and the seat of Ljusnarsberg Municipality.[1] The annual broom race began here, and ended over three hundred miles away in Arjeplog.[2]
Between the two locations was a Swedish dragon reservation, which the race passed through, adding to the difficulty and danger. In reference to this, the race's trophy was in the form of a Swedish Short-Snout dragon.[2]
