This wizard was the assistant of Amelia Bones in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.^[1]

At some point during the 1990–1991 school year, this assistant got Spattergroit and was admitted to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Madam Bones asked Jacob's sibling to fill in for him, as a part of the Ministry of Magic student programme. He later returned from St Mungo's to resume his work.^[1]
