The death of Lord Voldemort at the hands of Harry Potter
- 1519: Muggle Leonardo Da Vinci dies in Touraine, France.
- 1998: The Battle of Hogwarts takes place, resulting in the final defeat of Lord Voldemort and the end of the Second Wizarding War. Deaths include Vincent Crabbe, Fred Weasley, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, Lavender Brown,[1] Colin Creevey, Severus Snape, Nagini, Bellatrix Lestrange, Lord Voldemort, several Death Eaters, and fifty others.[2]
- 2000 or 2001: Victoire Weasley is born to Bill and Fleur Weasley (née Delacour). She is named after the victory over Lord Voldemort and his followers, having been born on the anniversary of that event.[2]
