The Tower of London, officially Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London during the 1960s, is a historic castle that appears in Grand Theft Auto: London 1969 and Grand Theft Auto: London 1961.

Description[]

The castle is located on the north bank of the River Thames in Bow, central London. It was founded towards the end of 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest of England.

The Tower of London has played a prominent role in English history. It was besieged several times, and controlling it has been important to controlling the country.

Events of Grand Theft Auto: London 1961[]

In 1961, the GTA London Protagonist beats up a man who has been harassing Harold Cartwright in front of the Tower of London.

Events of Grand Theft Auto: London 1969[]

In 1969, the GTA London Protagonist blows up a Beagle 3 in the Tower Green space to cause a distraction while he steals the Crown Jewels to pay off a beefeater's debt.
