The security company is named after Rockstar North's level designer Nik Taylor. The model of the security camera debuted in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, as Manhunt was in its final stages of development.
Taylor Security cameras can be found at the Schuman Health Care Center and the San Andreas Federal Mint, albeit with low quality textures and logo.
In Manhunt, Taylor Security cameras can be found through Starkweather's snuff movie scenarios.
