The San Andreas Gallery of Modern Art (SAGMA) is an art gallery in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.

Description[]

The gallery is located on Hawick Avenue and Eastbourne Way in Burton, Los Santos. The gallery advertises "a vast European collection" and new contemporary art pieces inside, according to the posters surrounding the building. The interior of the gallery is fully modeled, but inaccessible. The art pieces inside are made up of segments of the SAGMA banners seen flying outside the building.

A smaller version of the structure is used to house the Mountebank Gallery in nearby Alta.

In Grand Theft Auto Online, sometime in 2020, a piece of art on display at the gallery was stolen by self-proclaimed art connoisseur Ray Trotman and due to be put on a black-market auction. Four years later, the GTA Online Protagonist, as directed by former FIB agent Jodi Marshall, is tasked to steal back and secure the art piece. Some of the stolen pieces are an ornamented egg and a tiki statue based on the hidden packages from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Influence[]

The gallery's branding is likely based on the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in West Hollywood. The structure itself is based on 8300 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
