The shop is owned by someone named Lucky Pierre, which is a nickname for Peter, a guitarist and singer for a band called "Wonderboy". Wayland Standing, a map artist at Rockstar North, was a bassist in the band from about 1995–1998, and added Peter's name to the business as a reference to his time with the band.[1]
The shop is inaccessible to the player and plays no role in the storyline whatsoever.
In 1984, during the events of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, the business is absent and an unnamed business is in its place.
