Description

The facility spans the west coast of Acter Industrial Park. It possesses three cooling towers and two boiling water reactors. There is also a dyke to protect the area against flooding. Security Guards and State Troopers patrol the area. The Acter Nuclear Power Plant is a rendition of the Hatch Nuclear Power Plant in Baxley, Georgia.

• The burning chimneys can cause both the player and/or their vehicle to catch fire.
• There is a capsized shipwreck on the shore just west of the plant.
• If the player attempts to go into one of the cooling towers (by flying a helicopter into one or jumping into one from a helicopter), the game can sometimes freeze for unknown reasons (confirmed on the Xbox 360).
