Karpillia hails from Mondstadt but moved to Inazuma as she was unable to compete against Angel's Share in the alcohol industry. She initially had difficulty acquiring her supplies to brew wine due to the Sakoku Decree. However, after it was abolished, she was finally able to sell a large of amount of wine to her customers.
