Landa is an open-world NPC in located in Liyue. He can be found on the front porch of the Wangshu Inn in Dihua Marsh, standing next to his daughter Tia.

Landa claims to be a traveling merchant from Mondstadt who works running errands for a "really rich" Liyue wine merchant. Per his own words, he often has to travel back and forth between Mondstadt and Liyue for his work,[2] and has become intimately familiar with the Wangshu Inn due to how often he has to travel that route. However, he also claims to not have been back to Mondstadt in a very long time, and makes some very basic mistakes regarding his supposed business (misnaming the Dawn Winery as the "Morn Winery"). Secretly, Landa is actually a Fatui agent working for the Harbinger Pantalone.[3] Landa's daughter Tia comes from Mondstadt and has recently started traveling with him; she says it is her first time outside of Mondstadt. Landa has instructed her to tell strangers only his cover story, though she says she is willing to reveal his true identity to people who play with her.[4]
During one of his travels back to his boss in Liyue, Landa was attacked by monsters and lost a box containing invoices for a very important transaction. Fearful about the consequences of his failure, he asks the Traveler to retrieve the box, warning them not to look inside. The Traveler discovers the box was found by a Treasure Hoarder named Bao'er, and negotiates to retrieve it from her. According to her, the invoices seem to be highly valuable, and she warns the Traveler that the transactions are on such a large scale that they would be better off not asking any questions about them. Landa is highly relieved to have his invoices back, but is terrified when he finds out that someone looked at them.[2]

- Landa may be the Snezhnayan merchant mentioned in Noelle's second Character Story, who went to Mondstadt with plans to ruin their wine industry. The merchant ultimately fled the country with his family, a daughter, out of fear of Noelle's apparent ability to read his mind — which was really just an extension of her dutiful nature.
