Travelers!

Liyue's Lantern Rite festival will soon be upon us, and the "A Sea of Lights" fan art event is right around the corner! Post your work for the chance to be richly rewarded with Primogems, as well a year's subscription to Adobe All Apps, CLIP STUDIO PAINT and Adobe Photoshop!

How to Participate[]

  1. In accordance with the Submission Criteria, Travelers will create Genshin Impact fan art on the theme of "A Sea of Lights." There are no stylistic limitations.
  2. Travelers will post their work in the Billboards section of the Genshin Impact community (HoYoLAB), making sure to add the topic "A Sea of Lights."

Traveler participation shall be successful once the two steps above are completed~

  • Submission: 2/18 00:00 – 2/24 23:59 (UTC+8)
  • Judging: 2/25 – 3/10
  • Voting: 2/18 00:00 – 3/5 23:59 (UTC+8)
  • Vote Count: 3/8 – 3/10
  • Results: 3/11 – 3/16
  • Reward Issuance: After 3/17

Event Rewards[]

  1. Gold Medal (5 Winners)
    • Primogems ×10,000, Adobe All Apps (one-year subscription)
  2. Silver Medal (10 Winners)
    • Primogems ×5,000, Adobe Photoshop (one-year subscription)
  3. Bronze Medal (15 Winners)
    • Primogems ×3,000, CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX (one-year subscription)
  4. Runners-Up (30 Winners)
    • Primogems ×1,000, CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO (one-year subscription)
  5. Commended (30 Winners)
    • Primogems ×1,000
  • Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Runners-Up winners will be decided during the Judging period. Remaining works will be pooled for Voting.
  • 5 works can be submitted per HoYoLAB account. Each individual submission is eligible for a single reward.
  • To help our staff to allocate the aforementioned rewards correctly, we require participating Travelers to link their email address to their miHoYo Account.

Submission Criteria[]

  1. The finished works should be of high quality. Drafts and incomplete works will not be considered.
  2. When uploading their finished works, Travelers should include pictures of their works-in-progress (drafts, sketches, etc.) as supplementary evidence.
  3. Aside from the artist's signature, the finished works must not contain letters, words, or characters.
  4. Travelers should name their work (please include this in the title of the post.) In the description, Travelers should briefly outline the inspiration and meaning behind their artwork, as well as the time spent on its creation.
  5. Travelers should sign their name in any of the four corners of the work (please turn off the watermark function as illustrated in the image below).

  • For participation to be valid, Travelers must adhere to all the above five criteria.

Event Rules[]

  1. Travelers should stick to the theme of "A Sea of Lights" to create works of Genshin Impact fan art. There are no stylistic limitations (though in-game screenshots, pictures of real people, and previous submissions will not be considered)
  2. Submissions should be JPGs, PNGs, or GIFs with file sizes under 10MB
  3. Participants can post a maximum of 5 submissions, with each submission consisting of a single work. The same work cannot be submitted more than once, with additional submissions of the same work becoming ineligible for rewards. However, artists can win more than one reward
  4. Works of the following nature will be removed by our staff: those with content that violates our Community Rules, those that plagiarize or defraud the work of other artists, those with no relation to Genshin Impact's in-game content, those which seek to spread malicious rumors or discredit the game or its characters
  5. Travelers should participate in the event in accordance with the steps under [How to Participate]. In any of the following circumstances, participation will be deemed to be invalid:
    1. Submissions fall outside of the stipulated time period (2/18 00:00 – 2/24 23:59 (UTC+8)) or are posted outside of the Genshin Impact community (HoYoLAB)
    2. Submissions are posted in the wrong section of the community
    3. Submissions do not have the correct topic
    4. Submissions are entered as replies to this main event post"
  6. If a participant's successful submission is flagged and found to have plagiarized or defrauded the work of another artist during the Results stage or after the event itself, their rewards will be rescinded by the official Genshin Impact HoYoLAB Community Team. Their HoYoLAB accounts will be banned, with the right to future participation in community events revoked accordingly
  7. The official Genshin Impact HoYoLAB Community Team reserves the right of final interpretation of this event's rules.
