It is more like a "back to root", where if you want to do anything, you need to use the command-line and scripts (so, PowerShell)...
Not that I'd complain much, I started using computers 47 years ago, so I am feeling younger by the day.
Now, I just have to get rid of the graphical interface, and I'll be happy at work.
(at home I have already Linux, Windowz, macOS, Android, iPhone/iPad OS, and I forget a few others)
... is to indeed make a bot for searching illegal ads promoted through Meta's systems, and then reporting them through the simple method of fining Meta $1B per ad found, running the search every hour.
Any lawyer objection will be met by sending some SAS to nail the objector to the wall of its office.
My wife, having worked in IT before becoming a cheese expert, and having the good grace of listening to me when I speak about the dumb issues I see at work, knows exactly what to do in most instances.
However, she still has to call me to help her.
And almost every time I just perform the exact steps she just did, and did again to show me it was not working.
And then, of course, it works fine.
As I say usually:
My dear, the only difference when we perform these steps is that me, being an IT professional, knows exactly what I do and why I do it.
(and then I run away fast)
When home users got the Minitel in France in 1983-84, some models had an "abcde" keyboard.
Nobody complained then, since they were typing with one digit anyway, unless they were secretaries accustomed to the standard "azerty" layout.
The next iterations all used the "standard" layout.
With the latest versions of Win11, MS introduced the new AFNOR-designed layout as the "standard", relegating the current layout to "legacy" status.
So anyone not paying attention will have a surprise entering passwords the first time...
Of course, nobody is selling that new standard keyboard as far as I can say, and the manufacturers I am in contact with are not aware of its existence.
(and I didn't find any either on the Microsoft store)
