This is at least the second article I have seen about this announcement that does *not* ask the obvious question of whether or not uBlock Origin still works on Microsoft Edge. So far, it does for me, but I'm assuming it could break at any time. But yes, on our Android smartphones at home, our default browser is Firefox with uBlock Origin installed.

Not a surprise

Microsoft hasn't added any features to WSUS in *years*. Azure Patch Manager is getting all the juicy enhancements. Nobody should have been caught off-guard by this. Even then, it will be quite a few years before WSUS is gone, since they are supporting it in Windows Server 2025.

Yes, NTLMv1 is old and should be disabled, but...

...NTLMv2 is still widely used. For a large corporation, I assume it would take years to eliminate all software and user activity that uses NTLM in some way.

I can't say I'm surprised if a home-grown system can't be upgraded. If it's an older system, Microsoft is still supporting Windows 7 with security updates through the end of 2019.

Ask the Ad Age guy if he has ever changed the channel on this TV. So that's not stealing? I fail to see the difference.

He also completely absolves his industry of any responsibility for malvertising networks, with no concern about infecting people's machines. All we need is a bowl of clean, warm water and a fluffy towel so he can wash his hands of everything.

IE6 just died on Tuesday.

Though XP died last year, IE6 lived on in Server 2003 until Black Tuesday of this week. You guys should be devoting a separate filler article on the death of IE6. Grab a screenshot from any movie where the bad guy dies due to arrows, etc.
