I cannot believe some of the comments on here..!
My daughter had a Wilms Tumour (age 4) Relapsed 9yrs later - this time, as well as chemo and radiotheray she had a whipple procedure - Removing 2 thirds of her pancreas, replaced her Portal Vein, as the tumour had wrapped itself in and around the vein - causing liver malfunction etc...
So, ANY initiatives that help to combat this horrendous disease are more than welcome in my back - Especially as, according to consultants at UCL there is a very good chance she will relapse again - IF she does there is no cure/medicines she can have - only high dose chemo to "contain" the tumour - basically prolonging the inevitable...!
Some people really do need to Grow Up...!!
