NFTS volume limit is 2^64-1 clusters, though Windows implementations so far (upto WS2003/XP at least) work with a lower maximum of 2^31-1 clusters.
Dosent apply with EXT or ZFS tho. I can see a case where XP luddites will eventually have to move ...possible hardware war on the horizon between FOSS and M$ fanbois?

Personal Rant .....My desktop is a barebones with an ASUS M3N78-EMH HDMI motherboard +Athlon cpu, my netbook is an Aspire One . Both run the same linux distro (Opensuse 11.1).
Guess which one has the most problems? And guess which one works perfectly?

IMO this is a protectionist policy . Nothing has been mentioned about wether this is a 2 way street for taxation of non-us companies in the US .The current crisis has been caused by toxic debt generated in the US and distributed worldwide... no accountability there either.
As far as Ireland is concerned, remember this
1) It hasn't joined Schengen
2) Lisbon 2 is coming up.
3) It isn't in NATO .... other European countries might decide not to continue paying for it also.
4) The IRS have threatened the Revenue Commissioners before for disclosure .... RC told 'en to feck off.... they'd tax them themselves.I can see this increasing in frequency

...supposing (hypothetically) , a law was passed that allowed you to support a MAX of 10 bands at a MIN donation of 10.00 euro per band per year, and that law exempted you from prosecution (if you met both criteria) for illegal downloading providing they were on hard disk rather than a permenant archive medium , like cd or dvd (for research purposes),what impact do you think this would have?
Signed artists could not be donated to. But their work could be accessed (for research purposes....prior art & original material , which as a patron, you should be entitled to research...just no archiving).
Which 10 artists would you pick?
