The article The Golden Salamander has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article has had no evidence of meeting Wikipedia:Notability in its 5.6 years, and has naught but a single source—not about this novel, but the film into which it was adapted. Further, all other claims are unsupported by citations to reliable sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

The Death of Jane McCrea

[edit]

Hello - I don't think I have ever interacted with you, so I hope you are well? I wanted to reach out to discuss the above named topic (The Death of Jane McCrea), as the second paragraph contains this sentence: Vanderlyn moved to Paris and became the first American every to exhibit at the Paris Salon when he displayed two portraits at the Salon of 1800 in the Louvre. It's the use of the word every in the sentence that makes no sense to me; is it misplaced, or is every an art term? I know nothing about art (sorry), but then so will others, so if every is an art term, should it not be wikilinked?

I mean no offence by this enquiry, just trying to understand. Thanks and regards. The joy of all things (talk) 08:56, 13 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message. Yes it was a typo, should have read "ever" instead of "every". I've corrected it now. Thanks for spotting it. Lord Cornwallis (talk) 19:38, 15 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Edwin Landseer

[edit]

Hi, It is not necessary to add a copy of every single one of Landseer's works to the page, that is what Commons is for. It is enough to just have a representative sample of his work. There is a commons link for those who want to see more. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 08:02, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Seeking Help to Publish Draft Article on Iranian Theater Artist Mehran Ranjbar

[edit]

Hi dear Lord Cornwallis

I'm a researcher in cinema and theater, and most of my work focuses on these fields. As you may know, many theater artists in Iran remain largely unknown, even though their work offers valuable insights and perspectives. I’ve been trying to introduce them to a wider audience in English, as I believe this could be useful and enriching for many readers.

I started with a draft article on Draft:Mehran Ranjbar , and I’d like to share it here. Would it be possible for someone to help me improve it and guide me on how to move it to the main space?

Thanks so much! Darvish.76 (talk) 10:18, 22 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Stale draft

[edit]

Information iconHello, Lord Cornwallis, I saw that you made a draft for a new article at User:Lord Cornwallis/Hanoverian Succession (1714). Short term hosting of potentially valid articles and other reasonable content under development or in active use is usually acceptable. But in this case, you haven't edited your draft for a long time. If you wish to improve the draft yourself, please do. Otherwise, you may consider donating it to WikiProject Abandoned Drafts (a participant can help). Thank you. Legend of 14 (talk) 15:04, 26 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
