How to review user contributions

To see a list of a user's contributions, go to their user page or user talk page. When you do that, the menu item "User contributions" will appear in the Toolbox menu on the sidebar. This link will show you all the edits that user has ever made (except deleted edits), up to 500 per page. This is useful for tracking vandalism in progress.

Edits with a "top" link are the most recent ones to their respective articles.

You have your own contributions list, which is particularly useful for tracking your conversations on talk pages. If you are logged in, you can access the list from the "Contributions" link at the top of the page.

To help keep track of your discussions on talk pages, you may wish to place the {{Discussion tracker}} template to your talk page.

To add this auto-updating template to your user page, use {{totd}}

Request for Studentship

[edit]

Hy Cassiopeia!, My request is to be your student for the Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit/Academy. I don't have much to say (⊙_◎).⟨⟨Beastboy-𝕏-Talk!⟩⟩ 01:40, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

BeastBoy-X Good day! Thank you for your interest in the CVUA program. Please be aware that this program requires a significant time commitment to thoroughly review the guidelines and complete the assignments. While most participants take around three months to finish, you can work at your own pace with no set deadline. If you're still interested in participating after reviewing the provided information, kindly let me know, and I'll set up the program for you. Best regards. Cassiopeia talk 08:01, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm still interested! I have more than a warning, in fact, I've been blocked before. So I'll join.⟨⟨Beastboy-𝕏-Talk!⟩⟩ 23:02, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
BeastBoy-X May I know the URL or your user page or talk page which indicated you have been blocked. Thank you. Cassiopeia talk 02:33, 14 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for taking to long. this is my fourth account, my first account wasn't blocked, instead, my IP address was blocked In less than 24 hours after creating a account. My account was Leon Blvd, but I didn't get a warning because I think I was blocked before creating a account but didn't know it because It was my first day in Wikipedia, and I didn't get a welcome until now, so I knew nothing and didn't know where to start. The other accounts were not blocked, but some little things happened. ⟨⟨Beastboy-𝕏-Talk!⟩⟩ 14:02, 15 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
BeastBoy-X Thank you for the info. I believe you have info. May I know which account (pls provide URL or the user name) and what "some little things happened? that you mentioned above "The other accounts were not blocked, but some little things happened." Also, why did you create so many Wikipedia accounts?Thank you. Cassiopeia talk 21:45, 15 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Cassiopeia, The account was User:Leon Blvd, but it kept on saying my IP address was blocked instead of the account (if wrong, please provide description of: May I know the URL or your user page or talk page which indicated you have been blocked.), And some little things that happened were: I forgot the password of my second account, User:Playmak*r, after unintentionally deleting my browser (internet) using clean manager, so I switched to Chrome using User:Maxplayer23 but it was incomplete, it didn't have things like Homepages and I couldn't edit some other pages, so I created BeastBoy-X to end the terrible cycle of account creation ⟨⟨Beastboy-𝕏-Talk!⟩⟩ 23:10, 15 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
BeastBoy-X Thank you for the info above. I have checked all your accounts User:Maxplayer23, User:Playmak*r ; User:Leon_Blvd and User:BeastBoy-X , and none of them have been blocked. It is not advisable to have multiple accounts for no good reasons. I suggest you to state your retirement to all the accounts besides the one (BeastBoy-X) state your current and active account is BeastBoy-X) on the user pages. You can use Template:Retired for the retirement. After that, please declare all your retired account stated in your current (BeastBoy-X) user page. Lastly, please stop editing the retired account from here on. Once you have done that, then pop back here and let me know. Cassiopeia talk 23:30, 15 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm done, Sir! ⟨⟨Beastboy-𝕏-Talk!⟩⟩ 06:36, 16 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
BeastBoy-X You need to also declare all the retired account on your current user page - see above "After that, please declare all your retired account stated in your current (BeastBoy-X) user page.". Pop back here when you are done. Stay safe. Cassiopeia talk 11:27, 16 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from StephanSenetza (22:27, 14 May 2025)

[edit]

trying to set up a wiki page about an artist (myself) how do i do that? --StephanSenetza (talk) 22:27, 14 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

StephanSenetzaIn order for a subject to warrant a page in the main space of Wikipedia, it must fulfill the criteria outlined in the Wikipedia guideline on notability, specifically the General Notability Guideline (WP:GNG).
GNG is defined as the subject must fulfill specific criteria to demonstrate significant coverage from independent and reliable sources. These sources should provide in-depth discussions about the subject rather than merely offering passing mentions. This requirement is essential for verification, which is a core policy of Wikipedia. If a source is affiliated/associated/connected with the subject—such as the subject's marketing team, company, social media platforms, information in interviews of the subject or any self-published information—this indicates a lack of independence. Consequently, such sources cannot be utilized to satisfy the notability guidelines. Sources originating from educational institutions, government entities, foundations, social media platforms, and private companies are regarded as unreliable. In contrast, materials published by "major" newspapers and "reputable" books are typically considered reliable sources.
I recommend that you read WP:Your first article and adhere to the provided instructions before beginning the creation of an article. Stay safe. Cassiopeia talk 23:00, 14 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from NewSilverLending (14:20, 16 May 2025)

[edit]

Hi there! We'd like to add our company as an article to Wikipedia, should I draft the article and submit to Sandbox to get started and see if we're notable enough? --NewSilverLending (talk) 14:20, 16 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a business directory, so a company is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists. All topics must be notable by Wikipedia's definition to merit inclusion. In the specific case of a company, it must meet the notability criteria for companies and organizations. For this to happen, the company must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest. Writing about a non-notable company where you have a financial interest is considered promotion, which can result in sanctions. Sorry. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 03:39, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

NPPS trainer request and CVUA trainer switch

[edit]

A few days ago I made a request for a CVUA trainer switch request, you responded but, I never came to respond back (my mistake, I forgot to check it). Not only do I need that but, I would like to start a NPPS course with you as well. For the CVUA switch, I'm perfectly okay with you copying the old course. Thank you! twisted. (user | talk | contribs) 05:22, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Twistedmath Good day. I have set up the CVUA program for you and please read the "communication section" at the bottom of the page especially point 2 and re-El evaluate you "ALL - assignment 1 to 6" the answers. Once you have done that then ping me at the commutation section.
Thank you for your interest in the NPPS program. Please note that NPPS is a comprehensive program and its covers topics such as sources, notability, SSN, article content, AfD, CSD, communication, article creation, verifiability, and many more subjects that will assist a patroller in reviewing new articles on Wikipedia. There are 10 assignments and one final exam in the NPPS program. Please note that the program requires a significant amount of your free time to read the guidelines and answer the questions. Most participants take about three months to complete the program. However, there is no strict time frame for completion, as each participant works on the assignment at their own pace. I suggest you to start NPPS when you on your CVUA final exam phrase as to take both program is very texting on your time. Since you are on assignment 6 of CVUA, it will be just a few weeks away before you are on your final exam. Stay safe. Cassiopeia talk 08:18, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
