Purpose
Displays a pop-up mesage containing announcements, primarily for users who have their preferences set for the Monobook skin, and for some mobile devices like Blackberrys.
Despite his imposing nature, Thunderbolt happily takes on Brightbill as an apprentice of sorts, showing the young goose the winged ways of the sky. He exudes confidence, effectiveness and a no-nonsense attitude while remaining enjoyable and fun.[1]

The Spanish dub calls him "Bólido" which translates to "Bolide".
This is the only character that was created for the film by Chris Sanders as a potential role for Ving Rhames, who had previously collaborated with Sanders on Lilo & Stitch.
