The Merry Men are Monsieur Hood's henchmen and minor antagonists in the DreamWorks film, Shrek.

Shrek[]
They appear when Shrek and Donkey had just saved Princess Fiona, and were walking in Sherwood Forest. Suddenly Monsieur Hood appeared along with his Merry men in an attempt to kidnap and "rescue" Fiona. When they have beaten Shrek and Donkey, Fiona starts attacking them until they all are defeated. After their defeat they quickly escape.
Shrek in the Swamp Karaoke Dance Party[]
They appear singing the song YMCA by Village People.
Thriller Night[]
The band of Merry Men reappear with Monsieur Hood as zombies possessed by the beat of music. Monsieur Hood, with now pale skin due to listening to the beat of the music also appears as a zombie.
Video Games[]
Monsieur Hood and his Merry Men appear in the first level of Shrek 2: The Video game as a mini-boss. They are required to be beaten in order to progress through Shrek's swamp.

- While the Merrymen (with the exception of Monsieur Hood) are unnamed, it's easy to assume that the accordion player is Friar Tuck and the big guy is Little John.
- The other Merrymen could in fact be Much the Miller's Son, Will Scarlet, Arthur a Bland, and Will Stutely, all of which are characters who were a part of the group in early legends.
