As part of PyCon Australia's community outreach, we're holding an Electronics with Python workshop on the morning of Monday 3rd August at The Edge (part of the Queensland State Library, South Brisbane). Guided by mentors from our conference, participants will be given a kit of electronics including input sensors, output devices and an embedded computer. All the components are powered by USB and are thus low powered and safe. The components fit together using a breadboard, therefore there is no soldering required. Beginners are welcome. Women are encouraged, all are welcome. Drinks and nibblies will be provided, food is available.
