On April 12, 2024 (Disneyland Paris' 32nd anniversary) in the wake of Walt Disney Studios Park being renamed to "Disney Adventure World", it was announced that a new restaurant would be replacing the classic Restaurant en Coulisse fast food area as part of Disney Studio 1 area being renamed to World Premiere in addition to coinciding the name change to the opening of the World of Frozen.[1] It was also revealed on August 8, 2024, that the restaurant would would be named "The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant", followed by concept art themed after an open-air movie studio-themed restaurant as part of the reimagining of the park - despite the restaurant itself located in an indoor facility.[2]

The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant is a movie studio-themed restaurant, giving guests an experience of what they would look when they are in Hollywood located in Los Angeles, California as if they were to attend a movie premiere. Despite claims of it being an "outdoor" restaurant, much of the restaurant itself is located indoors rather than the restaurant itself being located outdoors similar to the faux outdoor theming of an establishment like the Blue Bayou Restaurant at Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland.
