Anne Boonchuy[]
Anne is one of Marcy's closet friends. She was overjoyed when she Anne were finally reunited. Anne believed that she needed to protect Marcy like she did back on earth, but Marcy proved she can take care of herself now, but is still grateful that Anne will always have her back. Anne points out how Marcy managed to adapt to Amphibia, saying this to be the happiest she's ever seen her. Marcy does listens to Anne about her problems as she offers her advice or comfort when she does.
When King Andrias revealed to Anne and Sasha that she sent them to Amphibia on purpose, Marcy explained that on Anne's birthday, her parents told them they would be moving due to her father getting a new job at a different state so she informed her friends about the Calamity Box so they can be sent to Amphibia and be together forever. As she tried to justify her actions, Anne was shocked and hurt with Marcy for taking her away from her parents and life back home. Feeling guilty for her actions, Marcy managed to activate the Calamity Box so she could send Anne home. However, Marcy was stabbed by King Andrias before she could join Anne and apologizes for everything she she did to her before succumbing to her wound. Due to her actions, Marcy fears that Anne doesn’t want anything to do with her and thinks she not gonna forgive for what she’s done to her alongside Sasha. However, Marcy is unaware that Andrias is after Anne and is trying to eliminate her, along with the fact that Anne intends on returning to Amphibia to rescue her and Sasha.
Upon being set free by Sasha, Marcy apologized to Anne for everything she had done to her and expressed her reasons for her actions. However, Mary was assured by Anne that they'll always be friend no matter where life took them as the latter accepts her apology.

Marcy and Anne meeting Sasha for the first time
Sasha is Marcy's other human friend; like Anne she was used to having Sasha making decisions for her prior to coming to Amphibia. She was shocked and saddened to hear about Anne and Sasha's fight. Both she and Anne vowed to work together and find Sasha. Marcy was very happy to be reunited with Sasha, and unlike Anne and the Plantars Marcy appears to trust Sasha completely as she's still unaware how serious Anne and Sasha's fight really was. Though Sasha does appear to care about her, Marcy was unaware that she is secretly using her and her friends as a plot to invade Newtopia. Though Sasha does express guilt with using them this way. Once she discovered that she used her, Marcy was shocked what Sasha did to her as she comes to the realization why Anne and the Plantar Family didn't trust her in the third temple as she refused to side with her, which shows that she was done putting up with her controlling ways.

Despite this, Sasha was horrified when Marcy was gravely injured by King Andrias, and felt guilty that she wasn't able to save her, showing that she still cares about her. Although, Marcy thinks that she can’t regain Sasha’s trust and believes that she won’t forgive her for everything she has done.
However, little did Marcy know, Sasha was determined to rescue her and make things right between them. Also, Marcy was unaware of Sasha's mix feelings about forgiving her or save their friendship. Fortunately, through Anne's help, Sasha does want to forgive Marcy and give her a chance to apologizes for her actions. Marcy was even saved by Sasha as she broke the link between her and the Core. After being set free, Marcy apologizes to Sasha for everything she had done to her as she happily forgives her.
Mr. and Mrs. Wu[]
Marcy's relationship with her parents was very complicated, with her relationship with her father being the most complicated than with her mother. In "Marcy's Journal: A Guide to Amphibia", Marcy described her father as a strict man who will immediately accept a new job offer in order to advance his career. When Marcy was informed by her parents that they planned to move away from Los Angeles, California after her dad was offered a new job, Marcy, upset at this news, got into a fight with her parents and ran away in tears, despite her parents' attempts to calm her down.
It was her parents' announcement of moving away that caused Marcy to hide what she knew about the Calamity Box and tricking to her friends, Anne Boonchuy and Sasha Waybright into getting themselves and herself stranded in Amphibia so she would not be separated from her friends. After arriving in Amphibia, Marcy became fascinated with the world and did not seem to miss her parents as she was still angry at them for their plans of moving away. However, Marcy did not tell Anne or Sasha about her family's plans of moving as she was scared that they would hate her after encountering a former member of the Newtonian Night Guard, Ernst who betrayed his allies while Andrias manipulated her into not telling them.
When Andrias did reveal her selfish actions to her friends, Marcy tried to justify them, but after realizing how her actions deeply affected her friends, she does everything she can to set things right. Eventually, while being mentally stuck in a fantasy world as the Core possessed her body, Marcy finally realized the consequences of her actions and accepted to be separated from them even if she did move away. After being freed from the Core, Marcy asked Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy to let her parents know she was alright and would be home soon, showing she was willing to return home and reconnect with her family. Once she had returned to Earth after the Core's death, Marcy reunited and reconciled with her parents who had postponed their move in the hopes that she would return home safe and sound. Later, after Marcy took weeks of therapy sessions to recover from her trauma, she moved to Massachusetts with her parents while having a better relationship with them than she ever did before she came to Amphibia.

Marcy served as the Chief Ranger of the Newtopian Knight Guard, directly working under King Andrias. While she trusted King Andrias greatly and regarded him as a confidant, she was oblivious to the fact that beneath his cordial exterior belied a mysterious and sinister agenda. Marcy made a deal with King Andrias that if she were to bring the Calamity Box to him, he would take her and her friends adventures in different worlds so they would be together forever as Marcy's family had planned to move away after her father got a new job.
- Marcy: "Stop! Andrias, this wasn't the plan you said no one would get hurt."
- King Andrias: "I would’ve said anything if it meant you deliver the box to me fully charged. Hate to break it to you kiddo, but you’ve been duped."

When Andrias managed to get the Calamity Box, Marcy was shocked when he revealed he used her into getting the Calamity Box and how he planned to use it to conquer other worlds. Also, Andrias spitefully revealed Marcy's selfish actions to her friends and Marcy attempted to stop Andrias in order to make amends for her mistakes. However, after Marcy managed to get Anne and the Plantar family to Earth, she was mortality wounded by Andrias. Marcy and King Andrias have a lot in common they are both very intelligent, enjoy puzzles and were hiding more information about the Calamity Box than they let on. The giant newt king is keeping her on life support in a containment tube for currently unknown reasons. However, it later revealed Andrias revived and healed Marcy because she was needed to be a vessel for his master, the Core.

Upon recapturing Marcy, Andrias admitted that he always liked her, and even tried to consider an alternative host for the core, but had to follow his master's orders. He even didn't have the heart to look as Marcy became possessed by the Core, who quickly took over her body and mind.
Following the Core's final defeat, Marcy made peace with an repentant Andrias.
Lady Olivia[]
She and Marcy seem to have a good relationship, as Olivia shows Marcy respect and expresses admiration for her accomplishments. Despite being irritated by Marcy's childish antics as shown in "The Sleepover to End All Sleepovers", but never holds it against her as she knows that Marcy is still a child and needs to have fun. She even appears to have become somewhat of a motherly figure towards Marcy as she took her in when she first arrived in Amphibia. Olivia was also pleased when Marcy promised to look after Amphibia due to the kindness Lady Olivia has shown her.
However, after Marcy got stabbed by King Andrias, Olivia was ordered by the evil king to put Marcy in a rejuvenation tank. Later, Marcy was rescued by Olivia who decided to rebel against Andrias as she was distraught by the evil king destroying all of Amphibia's resources. Upon being free from the tank, Marcy was consoled by Olivia as she was still recovering from her injuries while feeling guilty for hurting her friends. Unfortunately, Andrias prevented Olivia and General Yunan from escaping with Marcy where Olivia could only watch in horror as Marcy got possessed by Andrias's master, the Core.

Plantar Family[]
While Hop Pop and Polly started liking Marcy right away, Sprig was reluctant to trust her because of his experience with Sasha but after she saved his life he apologized to her and they became friends. Marcy is shown to have a good with all three of him, even bonding Hop Pop in "Friend or Frobo?" over their shared interest in seeds, carrying Polly around in episodes such "The Second Temple", and including Sprig and Polly in her and Anne's sleepover in "The Sleepover to End All Sleepovers". She is shown to horrified and remorseful when unknowingly putting them in danger during the Flipwart trial in "The First Temple". In "True Colors", their opinion is strained a bit when, it is revealed that she was the one who got her, Anne, and Sasha intentionally trapped in Amphibia with Sprig growing uncomfortable and backing away from her when she makes an attempt to justify her reasoning and how much Anne and Sasha benefited from Amphibia. She shows remorse and regret for her actions including when King Andrias drops Sprig not the window with showing a tearful expression on her face. This did not prevent her from saving Sprig from falling to his death while Andrias is distracted by the activation of Anne's powers, helping them alongside Anne escape from Andrias. They are shown to be horrified when she is stabbed by Andrias.
Citizens of Wartwood[]

Marcy was excited to meet the townsfolk of Wartwood, but they are distant and distrustful about her. So to get them to accept her, Marcy and Anne fix up the town with improvements. This catches Mayor Toadstool's eye and he offer her a chance to renovate Wartwood as a tourist attraction. Despite Anne's objections Marcy desperate for the towns approval goes through with they plan. But it turns into a disaster and Wartwood starts to sink into the swamp it was built on. Marcy and Anne then use Joe Sparrow to save everyone. Marcy apologizes for the destruction. Still mad, Mrs. Croaker tell her she is just like Anne was when she first came to Wartwood and One-Eyed Wally tells her that means that they will start to like her sooner or later. Everyone laughs and tells Marcy to be patient and Wartwood will get use to her eventually and a now hopeful Marcy starts to rebuild the town. She also befriended Maddie Flour and became her apprentice in magic.
The Core[]
The Core sought Marcy Wu as its host due to her possessing high intelligence and being capable at beating Andrias at the game Flipwart. After Marcy had been healed from the injuries she sustained from Andrias, she was restrained and possessed by the Core.
