"Chez Nancy" is the first segment of the first episode of Fancy Nancy, serving as the series premiere. It premiered on July 13, 2018 alongside "School de Fancy".
Nancy introduces everyone to her playhouse and tells Bree that she is done making the invites to her playhouse warming party. They go tell Doug and Frank that they'll deliver the invites to Rhonda and Wanda. They tell them to not peek at the playhouse, as they're almost done. However, Freddy and JoJo knock the invitations all over the place. Nancy states that once the playhouse is complete, she plans for her and Bree to play in private away from JoJo and Freddy. They then come across Rhonda and Wanda just as Grace arrives with her new bike. She notices the invitation to the playhouse opening, and Nancy notices what it will have. Grace doesn't believe it at first, but decides to see it for herself.
Bree notices Nancy bragging recently, but Nancy states that her playhouse will have all of the stuff. JoJo and Freddy continue to play pirates just as Doug and Frank finish with the playhouse. It doesn't look as playful as Nancy thought it would be, but Freddy promises she'll enjoy it. Nancy tells Bree about how bad the playhouse is, including on the inside. Nancy is about to cancel the party when she decides for her and Bree to turn it into a play palace with some help.
Nancy and Bree tell Freddy and JoJo to help with the playhouse, and they accept. Nancy tells them that for it to work, they need to add a little fancy. Eventually, the playhouse looks better than ever. Nancy thanks everyone for the help just as the guests arrive. Nancy welcomes them to the palace, and once they head inside, they notice how great it is. However, Freddy and JoJo need a sail for their pretend pirate ship, and JoJo decides for them to play "play palace". They soon eat the cookies, which are for Nancy's guests. However, Grace eats the cookies, as she gets the playhouse for herself. After Bree mentions it, Nancy tells Freddy and JoJo to leave and return to their pretend ship, as her play palace is for big kids only.
Grace then thinks the playhouse is perfect; she'll be coming over to play all the time, concerning Nancy and Bree. They decide to go get more snacks. Nancy apologizes for kicking Freddy and JoJo out of the palace, as they only want to play with everyone. Nancy mentions that they can be annoying at times, but they still matter to Nancy more than what Grace thinks. Nancy then tells Freddy and JoJo that they can share anytime they want. They then head to the play palace, and Nancy tells Grace about everything. Grace then decides to play in her own playhouse. Nancy then makes a toast to JoJo, Freddy, and Bree for making the playhouse fancy, and they're welcome anytime.
