Brendan James Fraser is a Canadian-American actor, best known for his comedic and fantasy leading roles in major Hollywood films, such as Richard "Rick" O'Connell in The Mummy trilogy and Trevor "Trev" Anderson in Journey to the Center of the Earth. He also voiced Scorch Supernova in Escape from Planet Earth.
For Disney, he played George of the Jungle in the 1997 film of the same name, Alden Pyle in the 2002 Miramax film The Quiet American, and Link in the Hollywood Pictures films Encino Man, Son in Law, and In the Army Now. He also portrayed Ben Sullivan in the Touchstone Television series Scrubs. Although he didn't reprise his role as George in George of the Jungle 2, he was mentioned in the film.
