This is honestly a wonderful date spot, and all the more so for pizza lovers. It’s dark and sexy in there, in a way other pizza places just aren’t. Plus, you can get an excellent pie (or pasta or salads) and it now has a gluten free menu. There’s a bit of glamour to be found on Knox Street without being over the top for NYE.

Yes, this Champagne bar is a great spot to go all-in on bubbles for the night but this year it will also serve a lovely prix fixe menu for dinner. With 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. seatings, guests can opt in to a starter course of a caviar taco or truffle nduja olives. For the second, a mushroom and onion croquette. The mains are a choice of New Year’s poulette (chicken) with sun dried tomato and a parmesan cream sauce, a petit surf and turf of beef tenderloin and prawns, or stuffed butternut squash. And for dessert, a clarified lemon pie. The meal is $110 per person and beverages are additional.

There is a final seating of the evening at 9:30 p.m. that includes lite bites of truffle popcorn and gougeres throughout the evening and a choice of fried chicken Provençal or crab cakes around 10:30 — all for $60.

The restaurant hasn’t announced exactly what will be on its four course menu for the evening, other than its wildly popular garlic noodles, but it will come with a Champage and dessert pairing. We’d go in a heartbeat anyway, even if its just the everyday menu. This is the option to go with if an intimate space, and the attentive service that includes. The cost is $120 per person with an optional wine pairing available for $55 more.
