The Carrollton pizza scene will never be the same: Cane Rosso is now (soft) open for business. That means staff is still being trained and the full menu may not be available, but still: PIZZA. Hours are limited to 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday this week, but will expand as staffing allows.
This new outpost serves all the same Cane Rosso favorites as the other locations, with a couple new additions: First, an exclusive-to-Carrollton pizza called The Betty. Named for the most recent addition to owner Jay Jerrier's ever-expanding pack of dogs, it's topped with housemade mozzarella, bolognese sauce, Luscher's sausage, ricotta, and prosciutto and is already proving mighty popular. There's also a cocktail menu with drinks like mojitos, Moscow mules, and Aperol spritzes, thanks to a full liquor license.
Cane Rosso Carrollton will also be open next Monday night for a "Pups on the Patio" dog adoption event with Cane Rosso Rescue; that means discounted pizzas and drinks along with the chance to take home a new furry friend. Keep tabs on the Cane Rosso Carrollton Facebook page for updates, and watch the opening announcement video below:
Hey. First, you should watch this video. Then, you should come have pizza at Cane Rosso Carrollton. Because we're open.
