ClamAV 0.90 リリース

Dr.WEB の対抗製品*1である ClamAV の最新版 0.90 がリリースされたそうです。

重要な変更点の一つとして、cvd ファイルの差分更新が可能になったようですね。

One of the most important changes is the introduction of scripted updates.
Instead of transferring the whole cvd file at each update, only the
differences between the latest cvds and the previous versions will be
transferred.

なお、オレンジシステム の池田さんによると 0.90RC1 からそれほどアナウンス文章が変わっていないそうなので、以前に池田さんが ClamAV-jp にポストされた announcing ClamAV 0.88.5 and 0.90RC1 を参照すると良いそうです。

オープンソース製品もドンドン良くなっていきますよね。プロプラ製品の Dr.WEB も負けてないように頑張ってもらわなくては！(← すっかり他人任せ...)
