Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)
This is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that face in the design of woodwork in your house. Human, animal, alien, or monster. Any kind of face.
As most of you know I have been down again with a body that doesn't seem to want to cooperate. So no new art today.
I did pull up some older art that you may remember.
This first one is a carved glass beaded necklace I made some 17 years ago. It was published and displayed in 3 countries. For those of you who don't know, I was a bead artist for some 50 years, published over 400 times and have taught classes in the US and 3 other countries. Those were good days. So back to the necklace. My friend Sandy models it.

I am hoping to have something new next week but I hope you enjoyed the oldies.
I am looking forward to seeing what all of you have this week. So now it's time to show me your face.

Oh, I remember that spectacular necklace from seeing it on your blog before! And all your wonderful leather faces. I love the beaded barrette and mask too. And that sun mask is awesome as well!
Wow, would you like to tell more about your bead artists- and teaching days?
Which countries, how was it like?
Great art for sure!
Hope you get better now soon, it´s been way too long!
Nice face! Happy Christmas 🎄
Beautiful pieces Nicole you are so talented.
You are truly a beading artist and teacher--wow!
Gosh I hope you feel better and better soon.
(I had my first wonderful rice cooker for over 30 years--hard to replace so I hope yours keeps working!)
Fabulous beading work, Nicole, so many wonderful and varied pieces! Hope you are feeling better but by bit. Take cars, hugs, Valerie
Gorgeous faces of your, and I love the the beautiful necklace.
Take care and have a happy holiday time xx
The necklace is simply stunning, Nicole. I also like the beaded barrette very mycg, such beautiful blues. All the art you showed here is gorgeous - the gourd face in particular stood out for me. I hope your body starts to cooperate and you can finally heal and feel much better. Have a peaceful Christmas.
Dear Nicole - I definitely enjoyed the oldies! And I learned a lot of new things about you here today. That sounds very interesting, like a whole life full of art. Your necklace is breathtaking and is presented by a beaming friend and your Nan at 104 is also a wonderful model. I also really like your other works.
Hopefully your health will really, really improve soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish you and everyone you love a wonderful Christmas ⛄🎄🕯️ and a happy new year 🍄🍀!

All these face masks are fabulous and creative
It’s good to have these great memories and photographic archives to help you through the bad time you are having now.
Thank you for showing us your bead work. It’s beautiful.
And the photo of your grandmother is priceless.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I knew from your url (Internet address) that you had worked in beads. This is quite interesting. Are any of your books still in print?
I knew you were a bead artist but those are very impressive stats. I love seeing your old work as it is very beautiful. And I hope things are continuing to improve, and that you also have a wonderful Christmas weekend too. hugs-Erika
You are very talented!
I love seeing the older images you created. My favorites are te leather, but I actually love the beading, too. It was nice to see so many of them together.
Have a lovely, safe, joyous, HEALTHY, pain free Christmas, dear Nicole. Also have a great Boxing Day, Kwanzaa, and New Year, too.
Good to see your old stuff.
ugh, body issues... I'm so sorry you're not feeling your feisty self... I haven't been creating faces much as usual, but glad to have something for today.
Allow yourself to do quiet things, and be okay with it, no pressure while you're healing or trying to. I know you know all that. Life can't keep a creative person down forever
Really nice fotos...but I like the toothless Dora most. Hope you will be recovering soon and feeling better.
Have a good time
