Sheri Weiner is a member of the Nashville Metro Council in Tennessee, representing District 22. She assumed office on September 1, 2023. Her current term ends in 2027.
Weiner ran for re-election to the Nashville Metro Council to represent District 22 in Tennessee. She won in the general election on August 3, 2023.
Weiner is a former District 22 member of the Nashville Metro Council from 2011 to 2019.
Weiner was a nonpartisan candidate for Nashville Metro Council Vice-Mayor in Tennessee. Weiner lost the general runoff election on September 6, 2018, after advancing from the general special election on August 2, 2018.
Biography
Weiner received a bachelor's degree in communicative disorders from the University of Georgia, a master's degree in audiology from the University of Tennessee and a doctorate in audiology from the University of Florida.[1]

The city of Nashville, Tennessee, held nonpartisan elections for mayor and metro council on August 6, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was May 21, 2015. All 41 metro council seats—including the office of vice mayor—were up for election. In District 22, incumbent Sheri Weiner was unopposed.[3][4]
