Sandy Kriegler was an associate justice on the Second District, Division Five of the California Courts of Appeal. He was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and was sworn in on April 4, 2005. He was retained by voters on November 7, 2006.[1] Kriegler retired on June 30, 2018.[2]
Education
Kriegler earned his B.A. from California State University, Northridge and received his J.D. from Loyola School of Law in Los Angeles.[1]
Career
Kriegler was a deputy attorney general from 1975 to 1985. He was then appointed to the Los Angeles Municipal Court, where he served until his appointment to the Superior Court in 1989. He served as a superior court judge until his appointment to the California Second District Court of Appeal in 2005.[1]
