Sam Arora (b. January 9, 1981) is a former Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 19 from 2011 to 2015. Arora did not seek re-election in 2014.
Biography
Arora earned a B.A. in political science from Columbia University in 2003 and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2010. His professional experience includes working as an attorney, Vice-President for Development for the Arora Group, law clerk to Maryland Attorney General Douglas Gansler in 2008, and as an appellate law clerk in the U.S. Attorney's Office in 2009.

Arora ran against Bonnie Cullison (D), Hoan Dang (D), Jay Hutchins (D), Vivian Scretchen (D), and an incumbent Benjamin Kramer (D) in the September 14 primary. He came in third.
Arora won the second of three seats in the general election on November 2, 2010.[1]
