What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
Passing a budget that benefits the people of Nashville and not corporate interests, raising pay for our teachers, law enforcement, and firefighters, and increase investment into our infrastructure.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Making sure that our city government honors its commitment to our schools and public safety employees.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Dependable and approachable.
What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
I listen to everyone and hear what they say, I know how to make things more efficient and understand quality. I'm passionate about giving back to the community and helping make opportunities for others.
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
Our district needs someone that will be proactive in maintaining open communications with their neighbors, someone that cares about their needs and not those of developers and corporations that only want to make a quick profit.
What legacy would you like to leave?
I want the people of District 13 to be proud of their council person. I want those that come after me to benefit from the same opportunities I got to enjoy.
