Regional Healthcare Competition
Veterans
Protecting the unborn and The Constitution

I am personally passionate about the well being of unborn children including the situation we are faced with in this region with the disappearance of our NICU. Ballad Health has made it impossible for us to have access to proper medical services and I will fix that. I have also witnessed the way our veterans are struggling with the VA having to jumping through the hoops and endless red tape to access medical services. I think there are a lot of things going on in Washington in which our district is not accurately represented. Our incumbent is an amazing person but is too soft spoken and cannot rally a team. If Conservatives don't start investing in today's youth then with in the next 10 to 15 years we will live in an entirely pagan society. I am terrified of the recent conservatives that have questioned our 2A rights, including Phil Roe who told WCYB he hoped the Senate passed the red flag laws and background checks that he voted against in the house! Phil Roe ran on a 5 term promise and is currently serving his 6th term. Running for another term wouldn't be in good keeping with Trump's campaign of promises made, promises kept.

I look up to Jesus. I look up to Trump. I look up to Charlie Daniels, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Hank Williams and Hank Jr. I look up to Phil Roe for giving me taking me on as an intern, but I will not follow anyone's example. I will set the example for future candidates that want to run in this district. We are a special people here and we are tired of not being represented for who we are!

I am a Charlie Daniels type of politician. I was forged by the music of this area, I was polished by the churches of this area, I was trained by the excellent salesmen of this area, and I was set on fire by the convictions of this area. I walk in the almighty power of the one true living God and no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am more than a conqueror. Our area is blessed and highly favored and I will ensure its protection from outside influence.

Honesty, transparency, and the ability to stay connected to their home and constituents.

I am terrible at being told what to do and an even worse liar. I would much rather face the consequences of being brutally honest than the conviction of telling a lie. I am extremely good at talking to people and relating to folks from all walks of life with different backgrounds, income, religions, and interests. I am kind of a jack of all trades with most things but my strongest and truest talent is the ability to deal with people. I am an exceptional sales person with a proven track of closed deals. I think that salesmanship is an important quality to have in order to be successful and it isn't one that can be learned. You are born with it. If you can not put your agenda in front of someone, convince them of it's importance, derail any competitors and entice them to act with a sense of urgency, no matter what degrees you have or how long you served in the military, you are not going to accomplish anything in Washington. I also have experience in managing goal driven, high stress employees from working the automotive industry, I was both a BDC manager and a sales manager. I can overcome any obstacles that are thrown in my way and think on the fly. I can train and teach almost anyone to do the same, making me and my department extremely efficient. Having also interned with the current incumbent Congressman, I feel the combination of these and my immovable morals and convictions make me the best candidate to send on our behalf.

To represent their district and the wants and needs of their constituents not themselves.

I want to leave a legacy that encourages others in the future not to let their pre-dispositions in life keep them from achieving what The Lord has planned for them.

I remember a mock vote in First Grade between Bush Senior and Ross Parrot. I voted for Ross Perot because I thought it spelled parrot like the bird. I was 6.

Charley's Steakery, about 6 months. It was a horrible job. Everything smelled like bleach. lol

Passover. Because I enjoy celebrating a risen Lord!!

That is a hard question! I will say The Bible because it is the foundation of who I am. I enjoy dystopian novels as well. Some of my favorites are The Matched series by Ally Condie, The Uglies Series by Scott Westerfield, The Hunger Game Series by Suzanne Collins, Animal Farm by George Orwell. I have a sincere love for everything written by C.S. Lewis and have read the entire Chronicles of Narnia, Screwtape Letters, The Great Divorce, Letters to Malcom, The Problem of Pain, Mere Christianity, A Grief Observed, and there are so many others that I will read before I die. I have read several books by Rick Joyner, Norvel Hayes, Kenneth Hagin, and John Bevere. I love reading, and love most when people tell me books that I should read because I am able to absorb their knowledge through the book they learned it from!

The silly part of me wants to instantly say Xena:Warrior Princess. However, I also see myself in Elle Woods from Legally Blonde because the struggle she faces is real. Even campaigning in this election I have had so many folks say, "Oh, you are too pretty to be in congress, or you need to stop being so pretty if you want anyone to take you seriously" but she champions that by using her good looks to prove her brain, and I admire that and think it represents true feminism. I grew up watching Xena and Hercules! Haha! Xena was awesome because she didn't let any man talk down to her or treat her as less of the warrior bad ass that she was! I like that Xena was always sacrificing herself to help others and that she stood up for those who couldn't stand up for themselves. I also like that she was a reformed war lord because I think it attributes to the testimony of her character that she stepped away from the ways of the world and chose a higher path.

My She-Shed!! It is my special place, a sanctuary if you would. It is my art studio, my tattoo shop, where I spend time with close friends, where I spend close time with The Lord. It has lots of mirrors and Christmas lights and girly shabby chicness and it represents the inner parts of my soul.

A few more rednecks is what we need.-Charlie Daniels

Not being able to be told what to do. I just will not be told. I have been fired from lots of jobs because of it. I can be asked, shown, taught, and warned of consequences but I will not be told or forced or swayed or manipulated into doing ANYTHING.

A lot of people are under the false impression that America is a Democracy. America has never been a Democracy, it has always been a Republic. It terrifies me the amount of people who do not understand the difference. A democracy is when every citizens voice is counted equally and the entire population would vote and make decisions together as a whole. A republic is where a constituency votes for a delegate to represent them. i.e. Congress. America has been projecting their ideals rather than their realities for far too long and it is time to have the true voice of the American people heard, and I want to represent Appalachia.

No. I think it is great to have someone who isn't a politician, who isn't "polished" some one who ACTUALLY AND ACCURATELY represents the people of their constituency. That's why I and the rest of the "rural population" voted for him, and why we will vote for him again.

Immigration will be cause for concern before the end of the decade and Second Amendment Rights will be brought into question and most likely freedom of speech and religion as well. They are under attack now, however when more and more jobs start getting replaced with automation, and there are literally millions of illegal aliens here that aren't paying in to taxes, and that are receiving tax payer programs for assistance, the country will go through a breaking point. It is inevitable with technology, and the current status of affairs, which is why regular people need to be encouraged to develop new ideas for changing their current jobs in to technology and making a profit from it, like uber, redbox, grubhub. There are some jobs that cannot be converted into a technology service but those jobs don't need to worry about being replaced by automation. We have to start opening our minds to how quickly our civilization and society is changing and work with it to preserve the parts the matter most, or they will be stripped from us.

Yes, there are certain caucuses that I intend on becoming a part of, however I don't want to put those out until I am a little more comfortable with knowing who the people in them are and how their personalities work with my own. I don't want to assume that because I have the same interests as someone that I will enjoy their company or agree with their agenda. I just don't want to accidentally get sucked into a bad situation. I want to take time to learn people and observe before making an official decision on who I want to associate with and where our interests will be best addressed.

Yes. A lot of things can change in a community in 2 years that they may need new representation for, such as my own where nearly every politician and official in the state has turned their heads and thrown their hands up on the Ballad Health healthcare monopoly plaguing our region.

I support term limits and will vote for them every time there is an opportunity, I however will not run on a promise of so many terms because I do not like to lie or be dishonest. I do not know how long it may take me to accomplish the things I have promised to my district and I will not let them down.

I like Chip Roy, he is kind of a conservative, tell it like it is, take no crap type of guy from what I call our sister state of Texas! I think I might like to be his friend up there!

No not a particular story but a few particular problems. The Ballad Health and VA are huge problems. It isn't really the VA's fault on a lot of things, it's the bureaucratic process and red tape that prevents them from being able to act more efficiently to serve our vets, and I have already contacted a few members of the board to see what type of legislation we could come up with the get rid of a lot of it. The Ballad issue is a big one because our region has the highest rate of drug addicted born babies in the nation and I don't care who said it and what power they have there is no excuse under then sun to be closing NICU's in this area. It is absurd to me. They have also now created a constriction on the people of this district that now have to drive 30 to 45 minutes or more to Johnson City to receive the same care previously offered in Kingsport. The emergency rooms are over full, people are waiting hours and hours to be seen, and people are moving out of the region because of it! On top of all that, The COPA was illegally approved and everyone in a position of power was paid off, it is that simple. It's not a conspiracy, it's fact. It will be brought to the light. I will draft legislation for regulations on Ballad Health and other conglomerate healthcare monopolies that will make them wish they never stepped foot in Rocky Top and also to prevent the disease of Alan Levine from spreading to any other unsuspecting communities that don't have Dani Cook fighting the wolves and exposing the lies and corruption to the public. And if for some reason I am not able to find a legislative answer to restore services, then by God I will bring a new hospitals, care facilities and other offices to compete with Ballad and make their life a living hell every time I am offered a moment of press on the issue.
