Lawrence Conaway ran for election to the Birmingham City Council to represent District 2 in Alabama. He lost in the general election on August 24, 2021.
Conaway was also a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 54 of the Alabama House of Representatives.
Biography
Conaway's professional experience includes working for GTE, Gray Electronics, and SCI Systems. He worked as a computer analyst for the Veterans Administration Medical Center.[1]

The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Incumbent Patricia Todd defeated Chris Cummings and Lawrence Conaway in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[3][4][5][6]
