Larry Wilske (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent California's 50th Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the primary on March 3, 2020.
Wilske was a Republican candidate who sought election to the California State Assembly to represent District 71. Wilske lost the primary on June 5, 2018.
Wilske was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 53rd Congressional District of California.[1] Wilske lost the general election on November 4, 2014.
Biography
Wilske served as a United States Navy SEAL for 30 years. He oversaw hundreds of missions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Philippines and taught at the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy. Wilske and his wife, Therese, have four daughters and live in Midtown.[2]

Wilske ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent California's 53rd District. Wilske and incumbent Susan Davis (D) advanced past the blanket primary on June 3, 2014, defeating John Edwards (R), Joel Marchese (R), Jim Stieringer (R), Wayne True (R), Christina Bobb (I) and John Campbell (I). Wilske was then defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014.[3][4]
