- Provide funding for the Math and Science Innovation Center
- The school system major issues are the lack of funding teacher salaries to exceed the national average, Henrico county has a high turn over of teachers every year and needs to institute a more robust recruiting and retention system that will ensure the district retain the best and the brightest teachers and staff.
- increasing the resources that teachers need in the classroom, utilizing a larger share of the revenue received from the meals tax to go toward teacher salaries. Teacher salaries need to receive the largest share of the meals tax revenue in order for our teachers to exceed the teacher national average in wages.
Teacher salaries, funding the Math and Science Innovation Center and reducing the number of students in the classroom.

An effective school board plays an important watchdog role in keeping your local school on track, and setting policies that affect your child and your school. The school board sets the vision and goals for the school district, and holds the district accountable for results.
The members of the Fairfield District.
I would treat everyone equally.
I would be a listening board to all members and be receptive to their needs. My main focus would be the P.T.A.
i would increase the visibility of the school P.T.A and encourage parents to get involved in their children lives.
I believe that diversity is a key component to a strong, innovative school system. This county was built on diversity, Different perspectives and ideas create a better outcome. If we all looked and thought alike, their would be no creativity. Creativity opens the door to better solutions.
Funding get in the way of a quality education.Ensure that education receives all the necessary funding that is needed to be successful.
A good teacher is a teacher that cares about their students. It is measured by the quality of care that the teacher provides to the student. I totally agree with advanced teaching approaches and support all teachers efforts.
Reading, Math and Science skills coupled with communications skills and leadership skills..
The high school diploma is a award for completing a set of classes prescribed by the federal government. a 21 century diploma should include all the child's achievements and accomplishments.
I am in total agreement that all children will not go on to college. I believe that children should be identified in the 9th grade , whether they will go to college or pursue a advance technical training opportunity. I would increase our funding for vocational training classes and encourage students to pursue their passions.
Ensure the budget is fully funded.
Our children deserve a opportunity to a safe and fair education.
Provide the necessary funding to meet the children where they are.
Funding the Math and Science Innovation Center is the key to as technology driven district. I would achieve this by funding the Math and Science Innovation Center.
