Biography
Debro is an educator. He earned his doctor of education from Mills College in 2012. At the time of his tenure, Debro was serving as director of the Gateway to College program at Contra Costa College. He began his teaching career at Bancroft Middle School in 1984, staying there though 1990, then taught at San Leando High School from 1990 to 2008 and at Los Medanos College from 2007 to 2012.[1]

No incumbents filed for re-election. Aimee Eng defeated William "Bo" Ghirardelli for the District 2 seat. Nina Senn won the District 4 seat by defeating Karl G. Debro, Atiff Saleem Shakir and Cheri Spigner. Shanthi R. Gonzales defeated Renato P. Almanzor to win the District 6 seat.
