|I have been married to my wife, Nancy, for fifty years. We have two adult children: A daughter who is a high school teacher with a master's degree and a son, a registered nurse working in the emergency department of a large city VA hospital. We have one granddaughter and a rescue Greyhound named Fred. I am a Democrat running for a House seat against an incumbent Republican whose record is antithetical to everything for which I stand. There is much work to do to improve things in the State of Florida: things such as, but not limited to, the environment, education, woman's rights, judicial reform, minority rights, wage inequality, gun safety, enacting reforms voted for by a majority by way of referendum, such restoring returning citizen rights and insuring business friendly legislation is fairly and equitably balanced with legislation that benefits all of the citizens of Florida. Corruption in government is something that should be investigated. I am very much opposed to injustice and inequality.
I served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. I have diseases and conditions related to Agent Orange exposure. My philosophy in life is "my glass is half full". I have been retired for the past eight plus years.
- I am opposed to injustice and inequality.
- Florida has suffered under Republican one-party representation for too long.
- I think corruption in government should be vigorously investigated.
